The Spirit helps us when we struggle with prayer (vs. 26-27), and God is absolutely sovereign over all things. (vs. 28)
He also discusses THREE fences or truths that QUALIFY God’s decree, so we hold to what the Bible says and avoid faulty thinking.
Fence One: God is NOT the author or direct cause of sin.
Fence Two: God’s absolute decree does not violate man’s free will, as he is still responsible and acts according to his nature.
Fence Three: God uses secondary causes to accomplish His decree.
