Romans 8:29-30 teaches us the Golden Chain of Redemption. In this study, Dr. Sean Cole addresses God's foreknowing and predestination.

God foreknowing His people in eternity past means that He set His electing love on them in a covenant relationship. It speaks more of the choosing of sinners to be saved.

God predestined His people in eternity past, meaning that His preordained plan will certainly and infallibly come to pass according to His sovereign will.

He also discusses the doctrine of unconditional election in the following verses:

John 6, Acts 13:48, Ephesians 1, and 2 Thessalonians 2.

He also encourages us to be compassionate in our interactions with those who differ from us on our views of election and predestination.
